Born and raised in Nova-Scotia, Julie d'Entremont has always been an artist at heart. She's progressed from living room performances as a toddler, to scream-singing songs on Rock Band as a teen, to now following her dreams as an actor in Montreal.Â
Julie graduated from Concordia University's Acting for Theatre program with Great Distinction. She has since become a prominent member of the Montreal indie musical theatre community, honing her skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Recent credits include Amy in Reefer Madness (Contact Theatre), Christine in Be More Chill (Penumbra Theatre), Martha in Spring Awakening (Contact Theatre) and Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Contact Theatre).
By day, Julie spends her time working as a florist, in which she's found a unique and creative marketing/social media following by blending her talent of floral arrangement with her passion of theatre. You can find these collaborations on her TikTok and Instagram @julie_dentremont! Julie also loves to spend her time writing original music, which she shares on these platforms as well.
As an artist, Julie wants to make people feel. Her curiosity lies in discovering how and why spectators create meaning, as well as forcing them to answer those questions for themselves.
Julie is repped by Andrew Noble with Noble Artists.
